What comes to mind for those "traveler-surfers" Is to find a surfboard that has many preforming qualities in a one-design surfboard. Something that can handle most conditions, and that is why I utilized my Kryptonite for that purposes - a well-balanced design that incorporates an old-school nose with a refined modern tail to handle the high-performance level of surfing, putting versatility under your feet in most types of conditions. Suitable for small hollow 2ft to 6ft punchy beach breaks. We found it to be supper comfortable at banging 6ft JBay barrels or speeding down the line. The proven outline and extra added volume/liters in the nose area, makes paddling and gets you into the waves much easier. The modern high-performance setup in tail area, puts confidence under your feet when drawing longer lines, it holds better when pushing harder! Our new low-rail-design allows for bite and cuts through chop, making hacks, and other maneuver's done with confidence, keeping you connected at all times. The bottom configuration consists of a single concave, running throughout the bottom, flowing into a pronounced Vee in the tail, with extra tail-lift for better control when laying it on the rail. The moderate nose lift and natural bottom curve throughout, gives us better control and maneuverability when speeding down the line. We recommend riding it 2" to 3" shorter than your regular board size, also depending on your size & weight. We suggest a 5-fin quad fin setup, which allows you to have more wave size options and conditions to choose from!
